INGREDIENTS:
- 1 12 oz. package of chocolate chips
- 1 13 oz. jar of Nutella
- 1 12 oz. can of evaporated milk
- ½ cup sugar
- ¾ cup Kahlua or strong coffee
Optional:
- 2 cups coarsely chopped toasted hazelnuts
- In a large saucepan melt chocolate chips and Nutella over low heat, stirring gently yet constantly.
- Add evaporated milk and sugar stirring constantly until smooth.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Cook uncovered for 8 minutes stirring gently yet constantly to avoid burning.
- Remove from heat and stir in Kahlua.
- Ladle mixture into 3-pint jars leaving ¾ inches of room in the jar for reheating.
- Cover and Refrigerate.
REHEATING OPTIONS:
- Place mason jar in a pan of hot water and heat gently over the stove.
- Spoon the amount of sauce needed into a microwave-safe bowl and warm in the microwave.
