Festive Grape Salad

I like to make this recipe for my family during the holidays.

Ingredients
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (8 ounces) sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 2 lbs each seedless red and seedless green grapes washed and thoroughly dried
  • 5-6 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup whole pecans


Directions
  1. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, sour cream, sugar and vanilla until blended.
  2. Add grapes and toss to coat.
  3. Transfer to a serving bowl.
  4. Cover and refrigerate until serving.
  5. Sprinkle with brown sugar and pecans just before serving.
Yield: 21-24 servings.

Note: Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator but will become a little watery which can be fixed by draining and adding a bit more sour cream and/or cream cheese.
